North Carolina Expands Medicaid Access to Family-Centered Treatment Through Partnership Between Family Centered Treatment Foundation and Healthy Blue Care Together

Through a collaborative partnership between the Family Centered Treatment Foundation and Healthy Blue Care Together, North Carolina has launched an innovative Medicaid service option that expands access to evidence‑based, family‑focused treatment for children and families involved in the child welfare system.

This partnership brings together Healthy Blue Care Together’ s statewide Medicaid infrastructure and commitment to coordinated, whole‑person care with the Family Centered Treatment Foundation’s nationally recognized expertise in intensive, in‑home, family‑centered treatment.

Together, the partners have developed and launched a new service option designed to strengthen families, prevent out‑of‑home placements, and support permanency and reunification for Medicaid‑enrolled children and families across North Carolina.
